Offers wanted - organisers can register until 28 April*
For this year's summer school holidays from 20 July to 28 August, the Youth Welfare Office is once again putting together interesting and varied offers in the Chemnitz holiday calendar. Organisers can now submit their holiday offers for 6 to 16-year-olds. Please use the registration forms on the City of Chemnitz website www.chemnitz.de/ferienkalenderhttp://www.chemnitz.de/ferienkalenderto submit your holiday offers. The editorial deadline is 28 April*.
With the compilation of daily events, multi-day offers such as camps, courses etc. as well as other leisure tips, the holiday calendar provides a quick overview of what is going on in Chemnitz and the surrounding area during the school holidays. Only age-appropriate events and activities that appeal to the whole family are included. The offers should preferably be free, inexpensive or discounted for holders of the holiday calendar, for example through vouchers. The inclusion of all events in the holiday calendar is free of charge for the organisers. Only events that take place during the holiday period will be included.
The City of Chemnitz has been publishing the holiday calendar since 2006. Thanks to the annual commitment and support of many event organisers in and around Chemnitz, this booklet has proven to be a faithful, practical companion for children, young people and families throughout the summer holidays. The holiday calendar is published with a print run of 5,500 copies.
