Holiday calendar 2017 - organiser wanted

There's always a lot going on in Chemnitz during the summer holidays. Numerous organisers are already in the midst of preparations this year. They are already planning and organising their holiday offers for the school holidays from 26 June to 4 August.

In 2017, organisers will once again have the opportunity to have their holiday offers included in the City of Chemnitz holiday calendar free of charge. The clear compilation of daily events, trips and camps or other leisure activities has made the holiday calendar a popular, clear and indispensable leisure companion during the summer holidays since 2006.

It is once again aimed at organisers in Chemnitz and the surrounding area who offer special holiday activities and events during the summer holidays for children and young people aged 6 to 16. The condition is that the offers are not part of the provider's regular programme. Activities for the whole family are of course also welcome. They should preferably be free, inexpensive or discounted for holders of the holiday calendar, e.g. through vouchers. Inclusion in the holiday calendar is free of charge.

The holiday calendar is published by the City of Chemnitz. The contact person is the Office for Youth and Family. Only the forms provided for this purpose are to be used for the inclusion of all events and offers.

Registration forms are available online at www.chemnitz.de/chemnitz/de/familie-bildung/familie/. The editorial deadline this year is 21 April.

Late or incomplete submissions or offers that do not fulfil the criteria cannot be considered.

The holiday calendar will be published in a print run of 5,500 copies and will be available from 12 June this year. Distribution points are all town halls, the mobility centre, the tourist information office and the TIETZ. The direct distribution of the holiday calendar by the school social workers in the schools with school social work has also proved successful.
