Holiday calendar 2015 - City is looking for organisers
For the 2015 holiday calendar, which is currently being prepared, the Office for Youth and Family is once again looking for organisers to offer leisure activities during the summer school holidays from 13 July to 21 August.
This is the tenth time that the city has published this holiday calendar for children and young people in Chemnitz aged between six and 16. In its tried and tested form, the booklet provides an overview of a wide range of holiday events in our city and the surrounding area.
Organisers who are planning activities for the summer school holidays can now apply. We are looking for organisers for the "Events", "Trips and camps" and "Other offers" sections.
Requirements for the inclusion of offers in the holiday calendar:
- they are special holiday highlights
- they are attractive in a contemporary way and correspond to the interests of 6 to 16-year-olds
- they appeal to the whole family (age grading of individual offers is possible)
- they are free or inexpensive or discounted for holders of the holiday calendar (e.g. through vouchers)
The organiser does not incur any costs for the inclusion of the offers in the holiday calendar. In addition to a chronological overview of offers, the brochure contains an overview of swimming pools, leisure facilities, football pitches, skate parks, libraries and other excursion destinations.
The 2015 holiday calendar will be published three weeks before the start of the school holidays in a print run of 5,400 copies.
The Office for Youth and Family asks interested event organisers to register by 20 March 2015 at the latest. They will then receive event forms on which they can make offers.
