Hike to the mushrooms in the Zeisigwald forest
The last excursion in this year's programme of monthly events organised by the volunteer nature conservation service will take place on Tuesday, 24 September in the Zeisigwald forest for a "mushroom hike": The topic is the vast realm of mushrooms, of which the relatively well-known edible mushrooms make up only a fraction. The excursion will be led by Peter Welt from the Chemnitz Mushroom Friends Association.
The meeting point is 5 p.m. at the Zeisigwaldschänke, where the hike will end at 7 p.m. at the latest. As always, interested parties are cordially invited - we recommend that participants wear sturdy shoes and clothing suitable for the weather. Participation is free of charge.
