High-calibre sporting event in the Chemnitz ice rink: International ice hockey match between Germany and Russia on 11 December

Visitors should also note the information provided by the traffic authorities

The Eissporthalle Chemnitz will be the venue for a top-class sporting event on Tuesday (11 December) from 19:30: the international ice hockey match between Germany and Russia. Up to 3,000 visitors are expected to attend the event. In view of the current weather conditions, the traffic authorities of the City of Chemnitz ask visitors to bear in mind that increased traffic volumes around the ice rink - especially on Leipziger Straße and Wittgensdorfer Straße - must be expected between 5 and 7.30 pm and after the end of the match from 9.30 pm to around 11.30 pm .

Parking facilities: The car parks at the ice rink, the car park of the Federal Employment Agency on Paracelsusstraße and the car park on Leipziger Straße near Gottfried-Keller-Straße are available for parking. Please refer to the map attached.

By CVAG to the match: Visitors to the international ice hockey match are requested to use CVAG's public transport services(www.cvag.de). To get to the game, buses on line 21 will run every ten or twenty minutes from the central bus stop (ZH) to the Wittgensdorfer Straße stop (17:57, 18:07, 18:20, 18:40, 19:00 from ZH). After the end of the game, buses on route 21 will run every thirty minutes from the Wittgensdorfer Straße stop in the direction of the central bus stop (21:52, 22:22, 22:52).
