Health authority activates quarantine computer
Offer on the city's website is intended to relieve the Corona hotline - information is not legally binding
The city of Chemnitz is now providing a quarantine calculator on its website. This can be found under the link www.chemnitz.de/coronavirus.
The number of COVID-19 infections in Chemnitz remains high. The public health department has therefore largely stopped contacting people by telephone. However, an increasing number of people have recently contacted the hotline with questions about the duration of their quarantine period.
Those affected should initially be able to answer these questions themselves using the quarantine calculator. It should be noted that this is not legally binding information and does not replace the decision of the public health department.
The calculator includes the option of calculating the quarantine period and the date of release for people who have tested positive. Furthermore, close contacts (household members who are not exempt from isolation according to the valid general decree) can determine the duration of their quarantine and the date for their free testing.
Click on the link to open an EXCEL file. There you can enter the test date or the date of symptom onset in the format DD.MM.YYYY.
Note:
As telephone contact has largely been discontinued, the notification is currently based on the test date. Affected persons who have symptoms are asked to send the date of the first symptoms and the test date to the public health department immediately by email to gesundheitsamt-kontaktnachverfolgung(at)stadt-chemnitz.de in order to avoid a subsequent correction of the notification.
