Headphone cinema against the "November blues"
City library: A special kind of cinema with films in November
Headphones on, sound on, film on ... - the city library is hosting a special kind of cinema in November. In the gaming arena in the TIETZ, up to 30 people can take a seat on the grandstand and comfortable seating. There will also be screenings in the district libraries in the Yorck Centre (12 seats) and the Vita Centre (20 seats).
Admission to all screenings is free of charge. No library membership is required. As places are limited, please register online at https://www.stadtbibliothek-chemnitz.de/aktuelles/veranstaltungen/kino. All participants will receive headphones on site.
The films will be streamed from the film portal Filmfriend, an online service provided by Chemnitz City Library. The films on offer will focus on German classics, documentaries, children's series and international arthouse cinema. A selection of book adaptations, family and social films as well as films about the environment, nature and travelling are shown.
