Handover of funding notification for the refurbishment of the Janusz Korczak School

Tomorrow, Wednesday 8 November 2017 at 10 a.m., State Secretary for the Environment Herbert Wolff will hand over a funding decision from the "Bridges to the Future" programme to the City of Chemnitz for the complete refurbishment of the Janusz Korczak Special School.
Representatives of the media are invited to attend the handover. The meeting point is in the music room of the Janusz Korzcak School, Max-Schäller-Str. 1.
The grant, totalling almost 2.3 million euros, is intended to support the refurbishment of the school for the mentally handicapped.
The planned construction project will be presented to the city council for a resolution (B-172/2017) at its meeting tomorrow (Wednesday).
