Hainstraße pedestrian bridge over the railway line only accessible via ramp
As part of the regular structural inspections, damage to the pedestrian access to the Hainstraße bridge was discovered, meaning that it has to be closed for safety reasons. However, the bridge can still be used via the second, long, disabled-accessible entrance. This means that the bridge can still be used.
At the time, the stairs were made of steel angle frames with inserted concrete slabs. The steel components are exposed to the weather without protection and are so badly corroded that the concrete slabs are in danger of falling through.
