Chemnitzer Nachhall e. V. has been involved in the production of local seeds, such as the "Chemnitzer Wiesenmischung", since 2010 in order to promote biodiversity on our doorstep. After all, biodiversity is not only found in natural environments such as forests and meadows, but also in the centre of the city. Gardens, balconies and parks play a crucial role in creating green oases in housing estates and provide valuable habitats for small animals. The event is organised in cooperation with the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre and Nachhall e. V. Chemnitz. This measure is co-financed by tax funds on the basis of the budget approved by the Saxon state parliament.
