Groundbreaking ceremony for Am Hang daycare centre

On Friday, 8 March at 10 a.m., Mayor Barbara Ludwig, together with the AWO and the head of the daycare centre, invites you to the ground-breaking ceremony for the extension of the daycare centre in Reichenhain "Am Hang". Representatives of the media are cordially invited to this event.
The extension and the complete refurbishment of the existing building will increase the capacity of the daycare centre from 38 to 56 places. This includes nine children aged 1 to 3 years and 47 children aged 3 to 7 years. The outdoor area of the daycare centre will also be restructured.
The daycare centre is run by Arbeiterwohlfahrt (AWO). Construction will begin in March. Construction is scheduled to end in October 2020 so that the children can move in in December 2020. The costs amount to 3.1 million euros, including 921,000 euros in funding from the "Bridges to the Future" programme.
