Stadium on Gellertstraße gets first roof parts - Attention, please consider the update at the time!
Assembly work on the roof of the south stand at the stadium on Gellertstraße will begin on Wednesday. By the home match against Hansa Rostock on matchday 9 (14 September), the south stand should already be completely covered. The north stand is to be fitted with a roof by 19 September .

The remodelling of the stadium on Gellertstraße is to take place without interrupting match operations and with a maximum budget of 25 million euros. A modern arena with 15,000 seats is planned, of which approx. 9,000 seats and 6,000 standing places, including a family block and barrier-free seats. The client is the city of Chemnitz.
