Glass canopies on Bahnhofstrasse are cleaned
Entrances and exits to the underground car parks closed on 7 and 8 September
On Saturday and Sunday, 7 and 8 September, the glass roofs at the Moritzhof and Kaufhof underground car park entrances on Bahnhofstraße will be cleaned from the inside as part of the maintenance and repair work.
The work has been scheduled for a weekend in order to minimise disruption to the delivery of goods and use of the Moritzhof underground car park.
The cleaning of the glass roofing in front of the TIETZ will begin at around 6 am.
The entrance and exit of the underground car park ramp on this side will be completely closed for this purpose.
Access will then only be possible via the underground car park ramp in front of the Moritzhof.
At midday, after approx. 12 noon, the sides will be changed and the entrance and exit on the Moritzhof side will be completely closed. Access to the "Kaufhof" multi-storey car park will then only be possible via the access road in front of the TIETZ. This may continue until Sunday lunchtime.
The company Dienstleistungsservice Peter Weyers from Chemnitz has been commissioned to carry out the cleaning work. The total costs amount to approx. 9,000 euros.
