German-Israeli SME Day in Chemnitz
Strengthening economic relations - exchange of experience from 7 to 9 June
From Tuesday to Thursday, 7 to 9 June, the German-Israeli SME Day will take place in Chemnitz. The IHK Chemnitz, C³ Chemnitzer Veranstaltungszentren GmbH, the Deutsch-Israelische Wirtschaftsvereinigung e. V. (D-I-W) and the Enterprise Europe Network, together with the city of Chemnitz, are inviting companies from both countries to an intensive three-day exchange of experiences.
Two countries - one interest: Israel shares an innovative spirit of development, a broad business landscape and good funding opportunities with Germany. The German-Israeli SME Day aims to demonstrate the potential that lies in technological progress.
Panels on mechanical and plant engineering, alternative drives, autonomous driving and AgeTech will be complemented by an exchange on the start-up scene and start-up culture.
These topics will be discussed with high-ranking representatives from politics, business and research in Chemnitz. Best practice examples and B2B meetings will follow.
The event will be attended by Minister President Michael Kretschmer, Lord Mayor Sven Schulze, Managing Director of the Chemnitz Chamber of Industry and Commerce Hans-Joachim Wunderlich, Hildegard Müller, President of the German-Israeli Business Association and President of the German Association of the Automotive Industry, Prof. Thomas von Unwerth from Chemnitz University of Technology on the topic of hydrogen and alternative drives, as well as representatives of VEMAS - Innovationsverbund Maschinenbau Sachsen, representatives of CADA e.V. and representatives of Starrag, Niles Simmons and other mechanical engineering companies. The AgeTech Cluster will also be represented by Q-Hub and other partners.
