On Sunday, 6 July, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., interested parties are invited to the Day of German Beekeeping in the Botanical Garden of the City of Chemnitz, Leipziger Straße 147.
Visitors can look forward to a programme of events relating to honey production.
Participation is free of charge, but a donation is requested.
Who's that buzzing? Honey bees take centre stage on German Beekeeping Day. Practical demonstrations provide exciting insights into life in the beehive and the work of beekeeping. There will also be lots of interesting information about bees, honey and nature conservation. Products from the beekeeping association will be on sale. A day full of knowledge, nature and enjoyment.
