German Association of Cities meets in Chemnitz
Press conference on 26 January, 12.30 pm at the Carlowitz Congress Centre
From Tuesday to Thursday, 24 to 26 January, the Presidium and the Main Committee of the Association of German Cities will meet in Chemnitz.
Lord Mayor Sven Schulze will welcome around 110 colleagues from all over Germany and discuss current issues affecting local authorities with them.
The meetings of the various committees are not open to the public. On Thursday, 26 January at 12.30 pm, the German Association of Cities will provide information on the results of the consultations during a press conference at the Carlowitz Congress Centre Chemnitz.
The Association of German Cities is the body that represents the interests of around 3,200 cities and municipalities at federal and state level. The President of the Association of Cities and Towns is Markus Lewe, Lord Mayor of the City of Münster.
