General Director leaves the Kunststammlungen
Frédéric Bußmann moves to Karlsruhe - Statement by Dagmar Ruscheinsky
The General Director of the Kunststammlungen Chemnitz, Prof. Dr Frédéric Bußmann, will move to the Staatliche Kunsthalle Karlsruhe as Director in the course of the year.
Cultural Mayor Dagmar Ruscheinsky comments: "Prof Dr Bußmann's move to the Staatliche Kunsthalle in Karlsruhe is to be seen as a normal occurrence in the art world. We thank him for the impetus he has provided in Chemnitz and for the work he has done here. We are sure that as the future European Capital of Culture, we will find a suitable solution for his successor at the helm of the art collections. We wish Prof Dr Bußmann all the best in his new role."
