Gaming - but safely! Playing online together with friends and family on Safer Internet Day
City library event on 4 February, 2 to 4 p.m.
Under the motto "Gaming - but safely!", the Chemnitz City Library and the Saxon Training and Testing Channel (SAEK) are jointly organising an online gaming afternoon on Thursday, 4 February 2021, from 2 to 4 pm. The event is aimed at children aged 6 to 12 with their parents or grandparents. Participation is free of charge. Registration at: https://t1p.de/gaming-sid21
As it is currently difficult to play games together as a group in front of the console, this special online event will try out digital games that can also be played remotely with friends and family. The focus is on child-friendly and, above all, data-saving online games.
The event will be rounded off with information on video conferencing tools and media use in the family.
The event takes place on the occasion of the international Safer Internet Day. This has been coordinated annually since 2004 by klicksafe(www.klicksafe.de), an initiative of the European Commission.
