Gablenz indoor swimming pool closes early on Monday
Repair to the pelvic floor necessary
As part of the annual inspections during the closing times of the indoor swimming pools, the tiling of the pools is also regularly checked to see if it needs repairing.
This week, it was discovered that some tiles on the floor of the 25 metre pool in the Gablenz indoor swimming pool had come loose. This damaged area must be repaired to prevent accidents and in the interests of water quality. For this reason, the Gablenz indoor swimming pool will be closed from 18:00 next Monday, 09/09/2013.
The repair will be carried out with the support of scuba divers and special binding agents in order to avoid draining and refilling the pool. It is planned to reopen the indoor pool with the regular opening times from Tuesday.
