Further training for helpers in refugee work

Helpers working with refugees often face psychological challenges.
They work every day to ensure that refugees are well received in Chemnitz. Very few of them think about themselves and their mental health. Specialists from the Sächsischer Weiterbildungskreis für Psychotherapie, Psychoanalyse und Psychosomatische Medizin e.V. (SWK-Chemnitz e. V.) are now working to ensure that further training can be offered for these helpers. The Crime Prevention Council of the City of Chemnitz has taken on the patronage of the programme. SWK-Chemnitz e. V. and its specialised institute for training and psychotraumatology CoPPP e. V. offer the training courses for helpers free of charge. Registrations are accepted by email at .

All training courses take place in the Bürgerhaus Am Wall, Düsseldorfer Platz 1, 4th floor, training rooms.
