In principle, the aim is to minimise disruption to lessons by carrying out the noisy work early, during breaks or after lessons. Nevertheless, it is unfortunately not possible to completely rule out noise disruption to lessons during ongoing work, as most of the measures have to be completed by the end of 2014.
Work has already begun on five properties during the summer holidays. During the autumn holidays in October, refurbishment work will begin at eight more schools. In addition, relocations within the buildings will be carried out in the autumn in preparation for the actual construction work. This is the case at the J.-H.-Pestalozzi learning support centre, the sports hall at Sonnenberg primary school and Altendorf secondary school. Altendorf primary school has already been relocated to Flemming primary school.
The Rabenstein primary school will be the last measure in the special programme to be started in spring 2014. An award procedure for the planning services had to be carried out first.
