Further roads cleaned and cleared - Observe current regulations on site
Due to the flooding, some roads in the vicinity of the rivers are still partially or completely closed. In the meantime, numerous closures have been lifted and the remaining roads are gradually being cleaned, checked and reopened as the situation allows.
Annaberger Straße between Reichsstraße and Treffurthstraße remains closed. In addition, the cycle path on Eubaer Straße near the dam was closed this morning; water is to be drained from the dam in a controlled manner until tomorrow. Local residents were informed of this this morning by loudspeaker vans. There is also a new closure in Querweg in Wittgensdorf (overflowing pond) and in Einsiedlier Hauptstraße / corner of K-Franke-Straße (monitoring of the bank wall). The Chemnitz Valley cycle path between Lohrstraße and Dammweg is also closed as the carriageway is washed out.
Marienberger Straße, on the other hand, has been reopened to traffic.
Drivers are asked to follow the signs and instructions of the emergency services on site. The road is currently still closed (as of 3 pm on Tuesday):

- Einsiedler Hauptstraße/K.-Franke-Straße (access road H no. 1)
- Florian-Geyer-Straße over Chemnitz, being cleaned
- Pedestrian bridge at Harthau railway station
- Pedestrian bridge at the market hall
- Pedestrian bridge Schulstraße
- Pedestrian bridge between Talsperrengrund and Einsiedler Hauptstraße
- Glösaer Straße (level with transformer station), being cleaned
- Heinersdorfer Straße (near the sewage treatment plant)
- Inselsteig
- Kauffahrtei (between Heinrich-Lorenz and VW access road)
- Klaffenbacher Hauptstraße (H no. 52 to Würschnitz)
- Neefestraße at the Neefepark access road (under the bridge)
- Eubaer Straße cycle path near Euba dam
- Querweg (Wittgensdorf)
- Zwickauer Straße at the junction to Stollberger Straße (turning lane)
There may be changes due to current events.
Another note: In some streets, residents remove manhole covers from the streets to prevent them from clogging up again. However, this can create dangerous situations for motorists. You are expressly requested not to remove the manhole covers in order to avoid endangering other road users.
