Funding report 2022 published
The City of Chemnitz's 2022 Grants Report is now public. In it, all city grants to associations, clubs and third parties are presented retrospectively, categorised by topic and grant recipient. The grants are funds from the city budget that are approved for purposes that are in the public interest.
For example, various addiction and counselling centres, child and youth work services, the Schauplatz Eisenbahn in Chemnitz Hilbersdorf, the Saxon Mozart Society, the Kaßberg Prison learning and memorial site and youth sports work in the city sports association in the city area were supported.
In total, the report covers 27 million euros with over 1000 individual measures. The main focus is on the funding of the Office for Youth and Family Affairs with 12.4 million euros, cultural funding with 4.4 million euros, sports funding with 3.8 million euros and specialist funding for youth, social affairs and health with 2.3 million euros.
