Funding for sport at Dr Wilhelm André Grammar School
Invitation to the handover of the funding decision on 21 December, 10 a.m.
The Dr.-Wilhelm-André-Gymnasium is receiving funding from the state of Saxony for the construction of a new two-court sports hall and its outdoor facilities as well as the renovation of the gymnasium in the old building. Media representatives are cordially invited to the handover of the funding notification. It will take place on 21 December at 10 a.m. in the auditorium of the Dr.-Wilhelm-André-Gymnasium. Mayor Philipp Rochold and Thomas Rechentin, Head of the Department of Educational Policy, International Affairs and School Sport at the Saxon State Ministry of Culture, will be present.
The total cost of the two-court sports hall and the outdoor facilities is 3.95 million euros. 2.37 million euros of this is the town of Chemitz's own funds. The state of Saxony is subsidising the construction with 1.58 million euros.
