From Monday, 14 July to Sunday, 3 August, Wolgograder Allee will be fully closed at the "Hutholz" track crossing at Ernst-Wabra-Straße due to track construction work.
At the same time as CVAG's track construction work, two other construction measures will be carried out on behalf of the City of Chemnitz's Transport and Civil Engineering Department as so-called shadow construction sites, i.e. the existing closure will be used for this purpose: From 14 July to 1 August, the road surface of Wolgograder Allee between Wolgopassage and Johannes-Dick-Straße will be repaired. In addition, a crossing aid for pedestrians will be installed across Wolgograder Allee at Max-Opitz-Straße.
The diversion for both directions of travel will be via Stollberger Straße - Südring - Markersdorfer Straße - Wolgograder Allee.
The CVAG track construction work will take place in several construction phases as part of scheduled maintenance work. This work will continue from Monday, 4 August to Friday, 15 August while traffic is maintained.
