Full closure of Reichenhainer Straße at the southern railway station

Reichenhainer Straße will be fully closed between Gustav-Freytag-Straße and Altchemnitzer Straße from Monday, 20 September at 5 pm to Friday, 24 September at 6 am.
The signposted diversion will run in both directions via Fraunhoferstraße, Lutherstraße, Bernsdorfer Straße and Bernsbachplatz.
Due to the difficult delivery of the WIB beams (rolled concrete beams), the closure must take place during this period, although Annaberger Straße is also fully closed at the same time.
Road users are therefore requested to use alternative routes if possible.
The full closure is necessary for the following work: At the junction of Reichenhainer Straße and Görresstraße, the crane parking area will be prepared and then removed. The threading/parking areas will be secured for the transport of the WIB girders by low-loader. The WIB girders are lifted into place and assembled. The shoring components must be adjusted during or after the WIB assembly. The installed WIB beams are bolted together. Fibre cement panels are installed as permanent formwork between the WIB girder webs. Critical reinforcement bars are also installed. The cantilever/cap formwork is attached and installed. The necessary auxiliary scaffolding is erected and then dismantled.
