Full closure of Obere Hauptstraße in Wittgensdorf
As previously announced (see press release no. 599), a full road closure is required for the installation of the surface course on Obere Hauptstraße in Wittgensdorf between Bahnhofstraße and Am Hang Straße. The full closure will be in place from Friday, 23 October, 3 pm until Monday, 26 October, 4 am. On Friday, bus traffic will still be routed through the roadworks.
The diversion for the full road closure will be via Leipziger Straße, Bornaer Straße, Wittgensdorfer Straße, Chemnitzer Straße and Obere Hauptstraße.
The asphalt surface course will be laid on Saturday in the section from Bahnhofstraße to Feldstraße across the entire width of the road. In the section between Feldstraße and Straße Am Hang, the surface course will only be laid on the left-hand side of the carriageway.
We ask all residents to park their vehicles outside the construction area and to observe the full road closure.
