Full closure of Bernsdorfer Straße between Bernsbachplatz and Lutherstraße
From Monday 27 September at 9 a.m. until Saturday 2 October at 2 p.m., the carriageway of Bernsdorfer Straße will be fully closed at the level of the railway overpass currently under construction. The bridge girders (rolled girders) will be lifted into place in the same way as on Reichenhainer Straße.
The diversion will run in a landward direction via Bernsbachplatz - Reichenhainer Straße - Fraunhoferstraße - Lutherstraße. Towards the city centre, the diversion will be via Lutherstraße - Zschopauer Straße - Ritterstraße.
Pedestrian and tram traffic will also have to be temporarily closed.
Following the full closure, Bernsdorfer Straße will be reopened in the direction of the city centre.
The closure of the landward carriageway will remain in place until around February 2022.
