About the museum night
After a two-year break due to the pandemic, the Museum Night in Chemnitz and the cultural region will take place again on Saturday, 14 May. This year, museums, collections and other cooperation partners from the cultural region are expanding the programme. From 6 p.m. to 1 a.m., the institutions at around 25 locations will be inviting visitors on a night-time excursion through the museum and art landscape. From art and industrial history to railways, the main programme of Museum Night 2022 will cover a wide range of topics and be a night-time showcase of the regional museum landscape. The Chemnitz museums and collections as well as partners from Central Saxony are taking part.
