On Tuesday, 26 August, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, the City of Chemnitz is inviting regional companies to the fourth procurement conference in the Great Hall of the Chemnitz Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Straße der Nationen 25. The aim is to provide early and transparent information about planned, ongoing and upcoming construction projects as well as contract award projects of the City of Chemnitz.
Registration is possible until 21 August via the participation portal of the City of Chemnitz at

Interested parties can already ask questions when registering so that the contact persons can prepare for the event as well as possible.
Those responsible from the specialist departments - including building construction and facility management, civil engineering, traffic and sewer construction as well as green spaces - will be available for discussions and questions. The conference will also provide an opportunity for direct dialogue with employees from the central procurement offices on municipal procurement practices.
The procurement conference is organised on the initiative of the City of Chemnitz's Department of Economic Affairs. "The fourth Chemnitz Public Procurement Conference is a real concern for us. In recent years, we have seen how valuable the direct dialogue between administration and business is. The open dialogue about current and planned construction projects is a central building block on our path to a reliable, business-friendly administration. Our aim is to inform regional companies at an early stage - and thus specifically promote their participation in important tenders," says Silvana Bergk, Head of the Business Division.
