Fountain "Five Continents" bubbles again in the castle park

Traditional restaurant "Miramar" sponsors the maintenance of the facility

The park on the Schloßberg in Chemnitz is already in a summery mood: the beautiful "Five Continents" fountain has now been successfully put back into operation and is once again bubbling daily from 10 am to 6 pm. The Parks Department is pleased to announce that the operator of the "Miramar" restaurant has already been engaged to provide entertainment from this year onwards. The traditional pub, which is also located on the Schloßberg, sponsors the operation of the fountain and covers the energy costs.

The Parks Department also reports that a test run with the plastic nozzles used has been successfully completed. In 2012, the brass nozzles of the system were stolen and the fountain was therefore taken out of service. The costs of the repair totalled 11,200 euros. The company RAC Service GmbH Chemnitz was commissioned with the repair.
