Forum "Alternative Chemnitz housing concepts"
Topic "Living" on 30 October, 5 pm, at the TIETZ
On Tuesday, 30 October at 5 p.m., interested parties are cordially invited to the "Alternative Chemnitz Living Concepts" forum in the Rondell on the ground floor of the TIETZ. Experts and guests will explore the questions: Where and why do the people of Chemnitz like to live? What makes Chemnitz worth living in? What offers and initiatives are there in our city that deal with the diverse needs around the topic of housing?
The event will begin with a brief presentation of the City of Chemnitz's Housing Concept 2030. This will be followed by a presentation of good practice examples from Chemnitz. These include the project "Kooperative Wohnformen Chemnitz" and the Brühlpioniere, which offer approaches for building communities. The housing companies GGG and WCW will also be presenting a number of current residential buildings.
The forum is part of the programme accompanying the exhibition "Affordable.Good.Housing" by the Centre for Building Culture Saxony. This can be seen daily in the foyer of the TIETZ until 8 November.
