For the "Hosen" concert on Sunday (9 December) in the Chemnitz Arena
Visitors travelling to the "Die Toten Hosen" concert by car should (also) follow the traffic authority's instructions
A concert with the band "Die Toten Hosen" will take place on Sunday (9 December, from 8 pm) in the Chemnitz Arena. According to the organiser, around 12,000 people are expected to attend the concert. Road users, and in particular concert-goers travelling by car, please note that increased traffic volumes are to be expected around the Chemnitz Exhibition Centre, on Zwickauer Straße and Südring between 3 and 8 pm. There is a risk of traffic jams on the A 72 motorway in the Chemnitz-Süd exit area and on Neefestraße. The traffic authority of the city of Chemnitz provides information on this - see the attached overview map on possible traffic jams on the A72 motorway, Chemnitz-Süd exit and on Neefestraße. Road users are requested to take the alternative routes indicated into account.
In order to ensure rapid access to the Chemnitz Arena car parks, the green light time for left turns from Neefestraße into Jaenickestraße will be extended and Jaenickestraße will be widened to two lanes. Wandererstraße from Jaenickestraße in the direction of Neefestraße (Solaris) will become a one-way street. Concert-goers are requested to observe the information boards about parking facilities and the instructions of the stewards on site. Please find attached an overview map of the parking facilities.
