For the DFB Cup, the entire South Stand in the match for the first time

After the South Stand was partially opened to spectators for the match on 2 August, the fans will be able to take over their "good room" in the stands completely for the DFB Cup match on Friday and thus provide an atmospheric cup backdrop. Only in the promenade area will provisional arrangements have to be made.

On the other hand, fans will have to say goodbye to the back straight. Blocks 3A, 3B and 4B will offer CFC supporters space in this form for the last time. Following the cup match, the old sections of the stands will be gradually removed to make way for the new East Stand. The northern section of the back straight will initially continue to house the visitors' block.

There will be space for 14,252 home and visiting fans for the cup match. A further 100 temporary parking spaces are currently being built to ease the car park situation on site. The additional parking spaces are located on Zietenstraße on the site of the former Go-Kart-Halle and the future car park. They will be available until the car park is completed.

In addition, preparations for the roof installation on the south stand are largely complete and the first roof sections will be installed in a fortnight. On the north stand, the steel girders for the roof assembly will be erected in stages over the coming week.
