Focus on recruiting skilled labour
Business division invites you to the job fair at the wine festival - on 8 and 9 August, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. each day
On Thursday and Friday, 8 and 9 August, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., the City of Chemnitz's Business Division and the "Chemnitz City" initiative are once again inviting all visitors, interested parties and skilled workers looking to change jobs to the Skilled Labour Exchange in Chemnitz city centre. On Jakobikirchplatz, they will have the opportunity to talk to regional companies and find out about current job offers and career opportunities.
This year, the Skilled Labour Exchange will add an attractive facet to the Chemnitz Wine Festival. Numerous companies from various sectors will be represented on site and present their vacancies and apprenticeships.
The project follows on from the successful "Coming Home Skilled Labour Exchange" at the end of December 2023, in which twelve participating companies presented themselves to extend the Christmas market. The aim is to make Chemnitz companies more visible and give them the opportunity to find skilled workers for their vacant positions within the company. Interested parties and jobseekers should also get to know new career prospects and make valuable contacts.
The skilled labour exchange is open to all visitors to the wine festival free of charge. Pre-registration is not required. Information on the participating partner companies can be found under Skilled Labour Exchange at the Wine Festival.
The event is co-financed by tax funds on the basis of the budget approved by the members of the Saxon state parliament.
