Work has begun in Stadthallenpark for the 2026 spring planting programme. On a total area of 428 square metres, the summer planting is being cleared, the bed is being milled and the new bulbs are being planted.
A colourful mixture is being prepared for the coming season: 360 red imperial crowns (Frittilaria imperialis 'Rubra'), 1080 yellow daffodils (Narcissus 'Carlton') and 700 white tulips (Tulipa fosteriana 'Concerto'). These bulbous plants provide a harmonious play of colours in red, yellow and white in spring.
As soon as the early bloomers sprout, a further 3000 yellow and 8250 blue pansies (Viola x wittrockiana 'Carneval') will be planted. With their intense splendour of flowers, they set fresh accents and impressively herald the start of spring.
The planting campaign will once again provide a colourful start to spring next year and ensure an attractive and well-kept cityscape.
