First public dialogue on the city centre framework plan

On 4 December, 5.30 pm, Pentagon 3 - online participation also starts

On Monday, 4 December at 5.30 pm, interested parties are invited to a citizens' dialogue at Pentagon 3, Brückenstraße 17. The aim is to discuss citizens' ideas and visions for Chemnitz city centre. We are looking for people's views on the current state of the city centre and where they would like to see changes - with the aim of shaping the future of a liveable and lovable city centre together.

Registration is not required. Representatives of the media are also invited.

The results of the participation will be incorporated into the development of the "City Centre Framework Plan". The framework plan will be developed by the City of Chemnitz by the end of 2024 and is a strategic concept that is intended to identify key elements for sustainable revitalisation and crisis-proof strengthening of the city centre.

On the same day, an online participation programme will be launched on the City of Chemnitz's participation portal at www.chemnitz.de/beteiligungsportal. There, citizens will have the opportunity to express their ideas and change requests until the beginning of 2024.
