First Chemnitz citizens' survey
The first Chemnitz citizens' survey begins next week. The city administration is working on a wide range of topics every day that are directly related to the everyday lives of Chemnitz residents. In order to develop Chemnitz into an attractive and liveable city, the citizens of Chemnitz are to be asked for the first time what is important and right for them.
A random selection process was used to choose 6,000 residents, who will receive a letter from the Mayor of Chemnitz and a questionnaire in the next few days. "We are asking you to give us your feedback in this representative survey. We are interested in questions such as: Do you like living in our city? What do you appreciate and what do you miss? Your answers should help us to align our actions with your needs, for example in upcoming plans and concepts," says Mayor Barbara Ludwig.
Only those Chemnitz residents selected at random can take part in the survey. The letters will be sent out in the coming week.
Participation in the survey itself is voluntary and anonymous. The questionnaire comprises 50 questions. Please answer the questions within the next two weeks. An online platform at www.chemnitz.de/buergerumfrage or the questionnaire in paper form, which will be returned free of charge in the enclosed reply envelope, can be used for this purpose.
