Finissage of the exhibition "Living Inclusion"

Adult education centre and Montessori school in Chemnitz demonstrate positive approach to inclusion

On Thursday, 21 September 2017, 2 p.m., children and young people from the Montessori School Chemnitz will present the culture of living and learning at the Montessori School Chemnitz as part of the finissage of the exhibition "Gelebte Inklusion" in the TIETZ event hall. The event will be simultaneously translated into sign language. This is made possible by funding from the Free State of Saxony.

Since June 2017, the adult education centre has been showing an exhibition on the 5th floor that documents a positive approach to inclusion in education using pictures and short texts.
In cooperation with the Montessori-Verein Chemnitz e.V., the exhibition shows how inclusive education can be lived and how it can succeed: All of the school's projects are open to children and young people with and without disabilities. Everyone contributes with their talents and enriches everyday school life in their own way. Diversity is lived, everyone is included, exclusion of individual groups of people is avoided.

Please enrol by calling 0371 488 4343.
