On Wednesday, 25 March at 7 pm, interested parties are invited to an extraordinary concert evening in the concert hall of the Chemnitz Municipal Music School, Gerichtsstraße 1. The four talented young pianists Cornelius Glanz, Matteo Thümmler, Gabriel Lehmann and Aurel Foulquier will present their skills in a solo programme entitled "Final Four - A final concert by young piano soloists".
Admission is free of charge. Admission is from 6.45 pm.
The term "Final Four", usually used in sport, takes on a new meaning on this evening: it does not symbolise a competition for victory, but stands for the joint conclusion of an intensive training path. The four pianists have dedicated their entire childhood and youth with commitment, talent and diligence to a well-founded piano education, which was significantly characterised and encouraged by the guidance of piano teacher Michael Fröhlich. At the end of their time at the Municipal Music School, the pianists will now play their "personal finale".
The audience can look forward to a varied programme that includes works by important composers such as Bach, Beethoven, Schumann, Chopin and Ravel.
