Final assembly of the tactile model is still underway
The tactile model handed over to the city of Chemnitz by the community foundation today has to be dismantled for the time being. During final assembly, it turned out that the dimensions of the connection between the base and the plate did not match.
In order not to endanger anyone with the loose metal plate, it will be removed again for the time being until it can be securely anchored to the plinth.
The community foundation and the city are working together to find a quick solution to the problem.
