Fence at the Dorfstraße play and leisure centre in Mittelbach renewed
The fence at the play and leisure centre on Dorfstraße in Mittelbach is expected to be completed tomorrow. The work began on Thursday, 15 February 2024. The fence was subsequently replaced as the condition of the fence had deteriorated significantly since 2021. The play and leisure facility was renovated in 2021 as part of the city's plans for the maintenance of municipal playgrounds.
The total costs for the fence amount to approx. 4,500 euros. The work is being carried out by Grünbau Bad Schlema GmbH, Aue-Bad Schlema.
During the 2021 refurbishment, the existing play equipment in the Dorfstraße play and leisure centre in Mittelbach was removed and replaced with a play and climbing combination, a playhouse, a double swing and a new double seesaw. The sand play area was also renovated and added to the play area. The landscape of the play area was enhanced by planting a large tree and twelve shrubs. The total costs amounted to approx. 55,000 euros.
