Father Christmas is waiting for the post!
Every year, the Chemnitz Christmas market around the town hall traditionally opens its doors on the Friday before the first day of Advent.
Every evening from 25 November to 23 December 2016, Father Christmas will greet the children on the fairytale stage of the Christmas market at 5 pm sharp and surprise all visitors with a fairytale.
Girls and boys aged 4 to 6 who are brave enough to meet Father Christmas in person can write to the Christmas market studio. Address:

The children will then receive an invitation from Father Christmas himself and should be able to recite a poem or song at their big performance. As a thank you, they will receive a gift from Father Christmas.
Parents, grandparents or siblings are welcome to help write the letter or draw a picture. Father Christmas's helpers are already looking forward to receiving the post.
