Father Christmas is waiting for the post!
Every year, the Chemnitz Christmas market around the town hall traditionally opens its doors on the Friday before the first Advent. Every evening from 28 November to 23 December, Father Christmas will greet the children on the fairytale stage of the Christmas market and surprise all visitors with a fairytale.
Girls and boys between the ages of four and six who are brave enough to meet Father Christmas in person can contact the Christmas Market Studio at the following address: City of Chemnitz, Public Order Office, Market Department,09106 Chemnitz.
The children will receive an invitation from Father Christmas himself and should be able to recite a poem or song during their big appearance. Santa will give them a gift as a thank you. Parents, grandparents or siblings are welcome to help write the letter or draw a picture. Santa's helpers are already looking forward to receiving the post.
