Falk Reinhardt elected Head of Facility Management and Building Construction
At its closed meeting, the City Council unanimously elected Falk Reinhardt as the new Head of Facility Management and Building Construction.
Falk Reinhardt, born in 1970, is an architect. He studied at the Leibniz University of Hanover and worked in architectural offices in Hanover and Greifswald. After training for the higher civil engineering administrative service specialising in building and urban planning at the Free State of Saxony, he initially worked for a Chemnitz-based redevelopment agency before taking over the position of Head of Planning in the Planning and Monument Preservation Department of the Hanseatic City of Stralsund from 2007 to 2009. From July 2009, he was head of the urban planning department in Hof in Upper Franconia.
Falk Reinhardt has been working in the city of Chemnitz since 2010. Initially as head of the planning and construction department, he has been in charge of the independent facility management and building construction organisation, consisting of three departments and around 270 employees, since August 2015.
