Extension of the Horst-Vieth path on the Bornaer Höhe completed
The complex civil engineering work on Horst-Vieth-Weg has been completed. The clients were the waste disposal company, eins energie in Sachsen GmbH and the Chemnitz civil engineering office.
In this residential street, the sewage system was developed with a sewer connection to the central Heinersdorf sewage treatment plant. The gas and drinking water pipes were renewed over a length of approx. 275 metres and the basic road construction was carried out.
Despite unfavourable weather conditions, it was still possible to complete the laying of the media and close the road in 2012. After the end of the frost period, the remaining road and pavement construction work was carried out in 2013.
The total construction costs of the project amounted to around 530,000 euros, of which around 160,000 euros were for road construction. Dietmar Mothes GmbH was commissioned with the construction work.
