Expert residents recalled and reappointed by the City Council

At its meeting yesterday, Chemnitz City Council also voted on three draft resolutions submitted by the administration regarding the dismissal and reappointment of expert residents working on the Disability Advisory Council, Social Welfare Committee and Youth Welfare Committee.

For example, the City Council dismissed the expert resident of the Disability Advisory Council, Jens Heydecke, from his honorary position as a member of the Disability Advisory Council of the City of Chemnitz (B-064/2013) and from his honorary position as an expert resident and member of the Social Welfare Committee (B-095/2013).
Mr Heydecke had asked to be removed from both honorary positions.

From the list of candidates to take over the honorary position on the Disability Advisory Council vacated by this dismissal, the City Council yesterday elected Ms Nadin Reichel as an expert resident on the city's Disability Advisory Council for the current term of office until 2014.For the honorary position on the Social Committee, the City Council revocably appointed Ms Julia Wunsch from the members of the Disability Advisory Council as an expert resident for the current electoral term until 2014 on the Social Committee.

Yesterday, the City Council appointed two expert residents as advisory members of the City of Chemnitz Youth Welfare Committee (B-066/2013): Luise Fuchs and Anne Jüngling were revocably elected as advisory members of the Youth Welfare Committee for the remainder of the electoral term.
