Expansion of the roads at Wilhelm-Külz-Platz completed
The roadworks on Wilhelm-Külz-Platz, which began in May 2016, have been completed. The traffic restrictions will be lifted on 10 August 2016.
Following the redesign and renovation of the square, the renovation of Straße der Nationen and Josephinenstraße in the immediate vicinity, the roads around Wilhelm-Külz-Platz have now also been renovated.
The road sections between Josephinenstraße and Müllerstraße or Straße der Nationen were renewed over a length of around 200 metres. At the same time, the pavements were rebuilt and broadband was connected by Telekom.
Another construction project in the Brühl-Nord redevelopment area has thus been successfully completed and the entire area around Wilhelm-Külz-Platz has been upgraded in terms of traffic and urban development.
The total cost of the project is around 225,000 euros. The construction project was financed from urban development funds. The planned schedule and budget were adhered to.
Faber Bau GmbH from Drebach was commissioned to carry out the construction work.
