Exhibition on nature conservation and volunteering
Saxon State Foundation for Nature and the Environment and the city's environmental office honour the work of volunteers and present their focus on nature conservation
The Saxon State Foundation for Nature and the Environment and the City of Chemnitz Environmental Agency are honouring the voluntary work of citizens in nature conservation with an exhibition entitled "Nature Conservation = Honour + Office". At the same time, the exhibition presents the environmental agency's main areas of focus with regard to nature conservation work.
The exhibition will be on display from Saturday, 6 September to 2 November 2014 in the cellar house at Lichtenwalde Castle (Schlossallee 1, 09577 Niederwiesa) and is open from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and at weekends and on public holidays from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Admission is free. Invitation to the opening: Representatives of the media are cordially invited in advance to the opening of the exhibition "Nature Conservation = Honour + Office" on Friday, 5 September, 11am, in the cellar house at Lichtenwalde Castle.
