Exhibition of journeyman's pieces in the carpentry trade
On Saturday, 22 August and Sunday, 23.08.2015 between
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Berufliches Schulzentrum für Technik II - Handwerkerschule, Schloßstraße 3, this year's journeyman carpenters' pieces will be presented to the public. Admission is free.
The exhibition will feature around 71 journeyman's examination pieces designed and made by the candidates at the end of their training as carpenters. These are various pieces of furniture and doors. This demanding part of the examination is particularly noteworthy because, in addition to the theoretical examination and work sample, the production of journeyman's examination pieces is only common in a few trades.
